11 Seamless Restaurants for Downtown Manhattan

Cooking is an important skill to learn, but not too far behind it is the skill of ordering in. Let’s face it, New Yorkers are busy and we don’t have as much time as we would like to prepare a delicious and wholesome meal. We also don’t have time to scroll through Seamless’ endless list of options, so without further ado, here are 11 delicious places in downtown Manhattan to order from on Seamless.

Suteishi

Minimum: $15

Suteishi is a low-key sushi and Japanese restaurant. There are many great sushi places in Downtown Manhattan, but when it comes to great delivery sushi, Suteshi stands out from the rest. The menu has every sushi/sashimi combination you could ever want, and even non-sushi people can enjoy a vegeterian, noodle, or chicken dish.

Pisillo Italian Panini

Price: $

Minimum: $15

Pisillo Italian Panini is panini heaven. There are 35 Italian delicious panini options to choose from with freshly imported meats and cheeses. Pisillo’s is one of the highest rated restaurants you will find with a 5 rating on seamless and 4.6 rating on yelp.  If you want something other than a panini or you only order from Seamless on Sundays, then look for someplace else.

Dirty Bird

Minimum: $12

Serving some of the best fried chicken in NYC, Dirty Bird is simply a place for chicken lovers. Fried chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, or rotisserie chicken, any choice you make is a good choice. Dirty Bird has large portions so be aware that their 15 chicken fingers are close to your average place’s 30 chicken fingers. Don’t forget to get their delicious mac and cheese.

Terri

Terri is a great vegan and vegetarian option for Downtown Manhattaners. The smoothies are the most popular options, but the protein bowl with kale, spinach, beets, tofu, broccoli, carrots, quinoa, bean sprouts, and chili dressing is close second. Don’t forget to check out their dessert menu which features a mouth-watering assortment of sweets.

CookUnity

Price: $$

Minimum: $18

CookUnity is perfect for those looking to eat a complete balanced meal at their own convenience. Each day has 12 options to choose from.  For example (when we wrote this) Salmon with truffle potato puree was a tantalizing option. The meal created by Chef Andres Mendez is made up of Salmon, lobster, truffle peelings, organic yellow tomatoes, organic potatoes, and a long list of other flavorful ingredients. For the health-conscious: the calories of each meal is provided as well. When you get your meal it will be cold, and there are instructions on how best to heat it up.

Tribeca’s Kitchen

Minimum: $10

Tribeca’s Kitchen is a go to Seamless option because it covers every meal and multiple cuisines.  If you and a group are interested in ordering food together, but you have trouble finding a place that everyone agrees on, Tribeca’s Kitchen is for you.  Even vegetarians and meat lovers can come together at this diverse American cafe. Gluten-free options are also available.

 

Bareburger

Price: $

Minimum: $20

Bareburger has a wide range of delicious burger options including different choices in meat. Beef is the standard, but bison, elk, and boar are there for the adventurous. There is a great vegan burger as well as an assortment of non-burger meals to choose from such as salads (including vegan & gluten-free options) and sandwiches.

Benares

Benares is a fantastic Indian restaurant to take advantage of on Seamless.  There are endless options to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian options. Benares is open for lunch and stays open for dinner until 10:30 for late night eaters.

Leo’s Bagels

Minimum $10

Leo’s Bagels is one of the most popular bagel spots in FiDi. The bagel and sandwich shop has a large menu to order from and opens at 6:00AM. It can get busy during peak weekend mornings when people wake up possibly-hungover craving a great bagel, but nevertheless Leo’s Bagels is a great place to order from.

Adrienne’s Pizzabar

Minimum: $9

Adrienne’s Pizzabar serves thin-crust pizza pies and classic Italian food. Adrienne’s is a must try for pizza lovers, but there are other specialties as well such as the sandwiches, lasagna and Nutella chocolate cake. Buen provecho!

El Luchador

Minimum: $10

El Luchador serves delicious authentic Mexican food at a cheap price. Burritos, tacos, and quesadillas are all good choices and you can’t go wrong with whatever you put inside: steak, chicken, carnitas, short rib, or mushrooms.
